β¨New Year, Shared Futures: Community Notes & Davos Connections ππ
In the meantime, may the power, creativity & AI be with you!
Dear Reader,
Happy New Year π
As we step into 2026, I want to begin with a heartfelt thank you. π€
Thank you for the trust, the encouragement, and the many thoughtful messages and ideas that continue to shape our shared work.
I also want to wish you a year filled with creativity, good health, and clarity. May this be a year where your ideas find the right conditions to grow, and where curiosity remains strong. π±β¨
A short note on the Future of Humanity Report
The Future of Humanity Report has been out for a little over a month now, and one part continues to anchor the entire work: the Letter to the Reader, which I wrote as the doorway into the report.
It begins with a simple reminder.
The future is not waiting for us somewhere else.
It is being shaped now, in the present moment, through what we build, what we repair, and the questions we are willing to ask with honesty and courage.
The report grew out of the Future of Humanity Experience in Basel during Art Basel week in 2025, and out of years of lived reflection on what is shifting in our world and what still wants to become possible. It is designed as a living document, and contributions are always welcome.
You can explore it, or share an idea, here.
Davos and conversations ahead
I will be in Davos during the World Economic Forum, contributing to conversations around ethical and secure AI systems, creativity, education, and several moonshot projects I have been working on over the past years.
If you are in Davos as well, I would be very happy to connect in person. And if you have an idea for a collaboration, please share it with me. I always enjoy seeing what wants to emerge when perspectives meet. π€
Community news
As we move into a period of continuous technological transformation in 2026, I also invite you to consider collaborating with my partners at dreamleap on ethical and secure AI systems. We are focused on building AI infrastructure that respects human agency, responsibility, and long term trust.
And a personal recommendation from the creative side of our community:
Sid and his Scentscapes are truly exceptional. I highly recommend collecting them.
This is a one time, ultra limited release, capped at 720 works worldwide, never to be reissued. The series is built from 830 whisky samples across 21 countries and more than 65,000 lines of molecular data, transforming aroma chemistry into luminous, collectible form. Each work comes with a nanotech scent card, allowing you to experience the olfactive layer alongside the visual. It is a rare and thoughtful fusion of art, science, and sensorial experience. Thank you for being part of this community, for your ideas, your presence, and your willingness to think and create with intention.
Wishing you a year of meaningful work, good health, and brave imagination.
With creative regards,
Iwona Fluda
